Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in the middle school setting
- Collaborate with the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and other members of the educational team to assess, plan, and implement effective intervention strategies
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address speech and language goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the overall well-being and success of students
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
- TX SLPA Licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
