Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team and work with students in the Bartlett, TN school district for the remainder of the school year. This opportunity offers both full-time and part-time hours, with the possibility of renewal based on performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing speech therapy services to students
- Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students
- Document and track student progress, ensuring proper records are maintained
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement effective treatment plans
- Support students in achieving their speech and language goals
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders or a related field
- Active Tennessee State SLPA License
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Position Details:
- Flexible Full or Part-Time hours
- Hourly contract position
- Immediate start through the end of the school year, with potential for extension
- Competitive hourly rate
