Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (School Based) - Needed near Katy, TX
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in Katy, TX. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with communication disorders, helping them achieve their speech and language goals. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while working in a collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing treatment plans for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate with teachers, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
- Help prepare therapy materials and activities as directed by the supervising SLP.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
- Valid Texas SLPA license.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
