Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (School Based) - Near Uxbridge, MA
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Uxbridge, MA. In this role, you will work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to support the delivery of therapy services to individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. Your work will help clients improve their communication skills and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist SLPs in implementing individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions.
- Conduct screenings and document client progress.
- Prepare materials and resources for therapy activities.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and client interactions.
- Provide support to clients and families, encouraging practice of strategies at home.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure cohesive care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Current certification or licensure as an SLPA in Massachusetts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience in a clinical or educational setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
