Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Position Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Manassas, VA. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a school-based setting, supporting students with speech and language challenges under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized therapy plans under the direction of an SLP.
- Provide direct therapy services to students to support speech and language development.
- Document student progress and assist in preparing reports.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure effective communication strategies for students.
- Assist with student evaluations and progress monitoring as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Virginia SLPA license or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting, is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
