Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (Experience Preferred) - Cary, North Carolina

Soliant is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Cary, NC. In this full-time position, you will work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to support students with communication disorders, aiding them in their academic and social development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering individualized therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Provide direct support to students during one-on-one and group therapy activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate updates to the supervising SLP.
- Prepare therapeutic materials and resources for sessions.
- Collaborate with educators and families to promote effective communication strategies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Current SLPA license in North Carolina.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
