Job Posting: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Lincoln, CA
Soliant Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, hourly contract position in Lincoln, CA, for the remainder of the school year. This role involves providing speech therapy services to students in a school setting, working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about helping students develop their communication skills and contribute to their academic and social success.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing direct speech therapy services to students with various communication needs.
- Implement therapy plans and interventions as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Support students with speech and language goals outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure consistent support for students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Active California SLPA licensure.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
