Position Summary:
VocoVision is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote services to K-12 students throughout Minnesota. This independent contractor role offers the convenience of working from home while delivering essential speech therapy services using VocoVision’s innovative teletherapy platform. Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students’ speech and language needs in alignment with Minnesota education standards.
- Create and implement tailored therapy plans that meet IEP goals and individual student requirements.
- Provide interactive, engaging therapy sessions using VocoVision’s secure teletherapy tools.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support student development.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed.
- Attend online IEP meetings, offering expert insights and recommendations tailored to Minnesota’s educational guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Current Minnesota SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience in school-based settings or familiarity with Minnesota’s educational requirements (preferred).
- Strong technical proficiency and ability to adapt to virtual therapy platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
