South Portland, OR - (SLP) Speech Language Pathologist - Full Time

A school in the South Portland, OR area is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contracted position. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated professional to join our team and provide exceptional support to our students.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication goals.
- Conduct evaluations and screenings to identify students in need of speech-language services.
- Educate and train families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with school and district policies.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Oregon state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field.
Education:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Valid Oregon state SLP license.
- CCC-SLP certification preferred but not required.
