South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist - Remote for 2025 School Year

VocoVision is looking for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join a South Carolina school district in a remote teletherapy role for the 2025 school year. This opportunity allows you to provide crucial speech therapy services to students from the comfort of your home while enjoying the flexibility of teletherapy.

Responsibilities:
- Provide remote speech and language evaluations, diagnoses, and therapy to students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with the school’s multidisciplinary team to identify students requiring special education services and develop appropriate interventions.
- Partner with Special Education Coordinators to design IEP goals and therapy plans.
- Serve as a resource for school staff on speech and language development strategies.
- Track student progress and analyze data to report on outcomes.
Skills:
- Experience with teletherapy is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in speech therapy software and tools for documentation.
- Ability to troubleshoot common technical issues.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and special education students is beneficial.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in a school-based setting preferred.
- Experience with articulation, receptive/expressive language therapy is a plus.
- Teletherapy experience is an advantage.
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
License:
- South Carolina SLP license required.
- Must hold an active license in both your state of residence and the state of the school district.
