Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Position Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Tacoma, WA. This is a full-time position for the upcoming school year, working with a caseload of high school and middle school students. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapeutic services and support to students with speech and language difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist SLP in providing direct therapy services to students with communication disorders.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed by the SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies.
- Adhere to school district policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Active WA SLPA Licensure
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
