SLPA - Speech Language Asst.
Location: Moraga, California
Overview: Our educational team in Texas is on the lookout for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) dedicated to helping students overcome communication challenges. If you have a commitment to excellence, diagnostic skills, and a desire to contribute to a supportive learning environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language challenges in students.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for students with diverse communication needs as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Deliver SLPA services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students in improving their communication skills.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports as an SLPA.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Sciences Disorders or Speech and Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences and Disorders
- Active SLPA (Speech Language Pathologist Assistant) License
