SLPA Position Available Near Dover, NH
Soliant is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school district near Dover, NH. The position is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue until June 15, 2025. The selected candidate will work primarily with a high school caseload, supporting students in their communication needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to high school students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and support goals outlined in treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and document student progress in therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to enhance communication strategies for students
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and participate in IEP meetings as needed
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Current SLPA certification or eligibility to obtain certification in New Hampshire
- Experience working with high school students in an educational setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Availability for full-time hours starting ASAP until June 15, 2025
