SLPA Opportunity Near Castroville, TX
Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time position in a school district near Castroville, TX. The selected candidate will work with an elementary caseload, starting as soon as possible and continuing until May 29, 2025. Supervision will be provided by licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to ensure effective service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) and treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and screenings to monitor student progress
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records of student outcomes
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance students’ communication skills
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a related field
- Valid SLPA certification for Texas (or eligibility to obtain certification)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs
- Availability for full-time work from ASAP until May 29, 2025
