Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time position in Prineville, OR, starting ASAP through the end of the 2024/2025 school year. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with students and support their speech and language development under the guidance of a licensed SLP.
Position Details:
- Location: Prineville, OR
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of the 2024/2025 school year
- Schedule: Full-time
- Caseload: K-12 students (details to be provided)
- Supervision: Work closely with a licensed SLP
Responsibilities:
- Assist the SLP in providing speech and language therapy services to students.
- Implement speech and language treatment plans and monitor progress.
- Assist with evaluations, screenings, and documentation.
- Provide support to students during therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and collaborate with the SLP to adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
- SLPA certification or licensure in Oregon.
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently while supporting the SLP’s goals and treatment plans.
