Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
Job Type: Full-Time, School-Based
Pay: $35-$48 (Based on experience)

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at a school district in Merced. This is a full-time, school-based position working with students from PreK to 12th grade. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in improving their communication skills and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the SLP in delivering speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels (PreK-12).
- Implement therapy plans and activities as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Provide individual and small group therapy sessions focused on language development, articulation, fluency, and social communication.
- Document student progress and report observations to the supervising SLP.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing therapy materials and student records.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other school professionals.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA certification or licensure in California.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school-based setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with other educational professionals.
- Comfortable working with a diverse student population.
- Passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
