Position Overview:
We are actively seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time position at a single school site in Lansdale, PA. This role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact by providing essential support to students with speech and language needs.
Key Details:
- Location: Lansdale, PA
- Setting: 1 school site
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Start Date: ASAP
- Licensure Requirement: Active Pennsylvania SLPA License is required at the time of application.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement therapy plans
- Provide direct speech and language services to students
- Document and track student progress effectively
- Assist in preparing therapy materials and activities
- Communicate with students, staff, and families professionally
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania SLPA Licensure (required)
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for helping students achieve their communication goals
