Job Description:
As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with Soliant Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services to elementary school students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the SLP in implementing therapy programs and activities.
- Providing direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and communicating with the SLP and other team members.
- Preparing materials and maintaining equipment for therapy sessions.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student development.
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA FL Licensure
- Previous experience working with children in a school or clinic setting is required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
