Job Description:
Soliant Health is seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Bethlehem. This full-time position involves working closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct therapy services to students in a school setting. You will play a vital role in helping students overcome speech and language challenges, supporting their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the SLP in conducting speech and language screenings.
- Implement therapy activities and exercises as directed by the SLP.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student goals.
- Prepare materials and set up equipment for therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- State licensure or certification as an SLPA in NC
- Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
