Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Are you a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) looking for an exciting career opportunity? ProCare is currently hiring an SLPA to provide direct therapy to elementary students according to pre-established plans of care.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students based on pre-established plans of care
- Adapt therapeutic materials and equipment for intervention purposes
- Collaborate with the Speech-Language Pathologist to review lesson planning and treatment programs
- Assist with progress reporting under the direction of the Speech-Language Pathologist
- Maintain charts, documentation, and progress reports
- Prepare and provide materials to students as indicated in the treatment plan developed by the Speech-Language Pathologist
Following the interview, selected applicants will undergo a screening process composed of:
- Urine drug screen
- Criminal background check
- Federal fingerprinting
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Licensed by the state board of Speech-Language and Audiology
- Experience in schools is highly preferred
Compensation: The pay for this position is negotiable and based on experience level, paid via W2 direct deposit. You will be compensated for all hours worked, including indirect hours spent on documentation, IEP meetings, etc. Let us know your salary expectations!
