Location: Vancouver, WA
Compensation: 50-66/hour - based on expereince
Company: ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in Vancouver, WA, to seek a committed Speech Language Pathologist for the academic year.
Position Type: Full-Time (Flexible)
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) for students experiencing communication disorders.
- Cultivate an inclusive and nurturing classroom atmosphere to promote the welfare of all students.
- Work closely with teachers, support personnel, and parents to evaluate student advancement and adapt instructional strategies as needed.
- Employ varied teaching methodologies and materials to accommodate diverse learning preferences.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
- State certification or licensure for school-based therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with various teaching methods, assistive technologies, and accommodations.
- Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities.
