Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated full-time Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This remote position allows you to provide high-quality speech and language therapy to K-12 students across Pennsylvania from the comfort of your own home. If you are an experienced SLP with a passion for helping students succeed, this is an exciting opportunity to make an impact through virtual therapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Virtual Therapy Sessions: Conduct online speech and language therapy for K-12 students, addressing a range of speech, language, and communication challenges.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Conduct assessments, develop personalized therapy goals, and implement evidence-based strategies to meet each student's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with School Teams: Work with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
  • Maintain Accurate Documentation: Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and assessment results in line with IEPs and state requirements.
  • Utilize Digital Resources: Leverage a variety of digital therapy tools, interactive activities, and virtual platforms to enhance the learning experience for students.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Pennsylvania.
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Certifications: ASHA certification (or eligibility) is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency with virtual platforms, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
