Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain CCC
- New Mexico state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- IEP experience preferred
- Experience with AAC devices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each patient's needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' speech, language, cognition, and swallowing abilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding communication strategies and swallowing safety measures
