SLP Position with PreK-12 Caseload near Columbia, SC
Soliant Health is currently seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a diverse PreK-12th grade caseload in a school district near Columbia, SC. This role offers the chance to work with students of various ages and needs in a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students ranging from preschool to high school.
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies to meet goals.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress.
- Collaborate with educators and support teams to ensure student success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active South Carolina state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows will be considered.
- Experience working with a mixed-age caseload is an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students through evidence-based practices.
