Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication goals for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and development.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies.
- Provide guidance and training to educational staff on techniques and strategies to support speech and language development in the classroom setting.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current license to practice as an SLP in Nevada (CCC-SLP or CFY).
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates with relevant clinical experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- Genuine passion for helping students achieve their communication goals and maximize their potential.
