School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students with speech and language disorders. This role involves working closely with students, teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support each child’s academic and social success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support students’ communication skills in the classroom
- Provide training and resources to staff and parents on speech and language development
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
