SLP/SLPA - 6 Week Leave Coverage - Carrollton, TX
Details
ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide coverage for a 6-week leave in Carrollton, Texas. The assignment runs from January 15 to February 28, 2025, with work hours from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A 30-minute non-billable lunch break will be provided, allowing for 7 hours of billable hours each day. The position involves working with high school students. There is always the possibility for an extension beyond the initial 6-week term.
Requirements
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working with high school-aged students
- Strong assessment and therapeutic skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other school staff and parents
- Compassionate and dedicated approach to supporting students' communication needs
