SLP Needed in School Setting - Full Time Contract Role
Bridgeport, TX
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Bridgeport, TX area. We are seeking professionals dedicated to helping students achieve their communication and academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, progress, and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for students with special needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
