Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming school year. This position requires onsite presence and focuses on providing speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 27 students in the PreK to Kindergarten age range.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to PreK and Kindergarten students
- Manage a caseload of 27 students effectively
- Develop and implement age-appropriate, individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine young students' speech and language needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support early childhood development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Implement play-based and developmentally appropriate therapy techniques
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with PreK and Kindergarten students preferred
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and communication milestones
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with young children and their families
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing compassionate and effective therapy services in an early education setting
