Responsibilities: As a Digital Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be at the forefront of helping students overcome communication and speech obstacles. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting virtual assessments to identify communication disorders and needs.
- Developing and implementing personalized therapy plans for students.
- Providing virtual therapy sessions using innovative telehealth technology.
- Collaborating closely with educators, caregivers, and other professionals to support students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as required.
- Keeping precise and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Illinois SLP licensure.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and creating IEPs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote therapy.
- Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and technology.
