Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our team at an elementary school in Trumbull, CT. This is a full-time position located at one school site. The SLP will provide direct services to students, supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), and conduct evaluations and assessments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping children reach their full communication potential in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' specific needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to elementary-aged students with various speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Supervise and collaborate with an SLPA to support student progress and deliver high-quality services.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' goals.
- Maintain compliance with school policies and state/federal regulations for speech-language pathology services.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid Connecticut SLP license
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to supervise and mentor an SLPA effectively
