Soliant is currently seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for an elementary school position in Milford, CT. This is a full-time role with an immediate start. The SLP will work with a diverse caseload of elementary-aged students, providing therapy, conducting evaluations and assessments, and offering multiple supports to ensure student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary school students.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students' communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide necessary supports for students.
- Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with school, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid Connecticut SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
