Position Overview: As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) with Soliant Health, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by providing high-quality speech and language therapy services. You will work collaboratively with school staff and families to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, helping students achieve their academic and social goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and success.
- Monitor and document students' progress towards speech and language goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.
- Stay current on best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
