Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position is based in South Bend, IN, and involves working with a diverse caseload of students in grades K-5. Apply or email [email protected] for immediate consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student.
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, to address speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives.
- Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid Indiana state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Experience working with children in a school setting, particularly with K-5th grade students, is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
