About the Position:
Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our team in Saint George, South Carolina. This is a full-time, school-based position covering a small middle and elementary caseload for the full school year. As an SLP-CCC with Soliant Health, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by providing high-quality speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals and needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' communication needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and regularly report findings to parents and school staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational programs.
- Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- State licensure or ability to obtain licensure in South Carolina
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based services to students
