VocoVision is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide remote therapy services to students across Illinois. What You’ll Be Doing
- Speech and Language Assessments: Evaluate students to identify speech and language disorders and create individualized therapy plans.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide direct therapy in areas like articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and expressive language, either one-on-one or in small groups.
- IEP Participation: Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.
- Advocacy: Ensure students have the support and resources needed to succeed academically and socially.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to meet goals.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Certification: ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience: Experience with virtual therapy settings is preferred but not required
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
