Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description: Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Fort Worth, Texas area. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in individuals across the lifespan.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve speech and language skills, as well as swallowing function.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas.
- Experience with implementing and conducting IEPs preferred but not required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Experience with AAC devices.
