Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed speech and language evaluations to determine student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders.
- Deliver speech therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input on speech and language needs.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology to provide top-quality care.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Maryland license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and consistently meet deadlines.
- A passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position, requiring 35 hours per week.
- The caseload includes students from Pre K through 12.
