SLPA Role Near Whitman, MA
Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district near Whitman, Massachusetts. This full-time position begins in March and runs through June, providing an excellent opportunity to support students in their communication and learning goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success
- Adapt therapy materials and activities to meet the needs of individual students
Qualifications
- Active SLPA license in the state of Massachusetts
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to supporting student growth and development
