Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year in Santa Clara, CA. As an SLPA, you will work closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students with communication disorders, helping them improve their speech, language, and social skills. This is a full-time, 35-hour per week position offering competitive benefits and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans.

Monitor and document student progress in therapy sessions.

Assist in conducting assessments and screenings to identify communication needs.

Implement speech and language therapy strategies in both individual and group settings.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication goals.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, progress, and reports.
Requirements:

Current SLPA license in California.

Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
