Qualifications & Requirements:
All candidates must meet local and state licensing requirements for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in California.

Required: Valid California SLPA licensure

Preferred: Experience working with special education students and families

Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in implementing therapy programs

Work directly with students to support speech and language development goals

Conduct speech and language screenings under the supervision of an SLP

Maintain detailed documentation of student progress

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student success

Modify therapy activities to accommodate diverse learning needs
