Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Rockland, Maine
Soliant Health is looking for a dedicated SLPA to work collaboratively to support students with communication disorders in achieving their academic and social goals. The SLPA will assist in the implementation of therapy plans, conduct speech and language assessments, and provide interventions under the supervision of licensed SLPs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized therapy plans developed by licensed SLPs.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide speech and language interventions.
- Conduct speech and language screenings and assessments as directed by licensed SLPs.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support student needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) issued by the Maine Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
