Role Overview:
As an SLPA, you will assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering essential speech and language services to students. Your contributions will help create a positive and effective learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Services: Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Therapy Implementation: Provide direct support to students during therapy sessions.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of student progress and assist with reporting requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SLPs, teachers, and staff to support student needs.
- Communication: Engage with families to discuss student progress and recommended strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Current Massachusetts registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
