Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) eager to support students in Leonardtown, MD? Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a full-time SLPA to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing speech therapy services to students with speech and language difficulties across various school settings.
- Work alongside the supervising SLP to implement individualized therapy plans for students.
- Support students in areas such as articulation, fluency, and language development.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with students and staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of strategies for addressing students' communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and staff.
- Knowledge of speech therapy practices, ethical standards, and professional guidelines.
