SLPA - Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (School Based)

Position Overview: We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Lakewood, WA. This full-time, full-year contractor role involves working under a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students' communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the SLP in speech and language screenings.
- Implement treatment plans created by the SLP.
- Document student progress.
- Support individual and group therapy sessions.
- Prepare materials for therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals.
- Attend meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Valid SLPA license in Washington.
- Preferably, experience in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adherence to confidentiality and ethical practices.
