25/26 Full Time - Speech Language Pathologist Assistants Needed in North Carolina
A school district near Fayetteville, NC, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join their team for the 2025/2026 school year. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with students, helping them develop their communication skills and reach their full potential in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing therapy services to students.
- Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Support students in improving speech, language, and communication skills in group and individual sessions.
- Collect and document data on student progress and report findings to the SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Prepare therapy materials and activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all school and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- North Carolina SLPA license or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Passion for helping students enhance their communication abilities.
