Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Position
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) for a full-time position with school districts in the Columbus, NE area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school team and make a meaningful impact on students' speech and language development. Contract renewals for the following school year will be based on performance.
Position Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Active Nebraska SLPA License issued by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)

Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or a related field
-
Compliance with Nebraska Department of Education requirements, including background checks and fingerprinting
-
Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct speech therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
-
Assist in implementing therapy plans, assessments, and intervention strategies for students
-
Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP reporting
-
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to support student goals and communication development

Support students' participation in speech therapy through individual and group sessions
