Education and Certification Requirements:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

Valid SLPA license issued by the Florida Department of Health

Must satisfy all federal requirements for employment in a school setting

Typical Job Responsibilities:

Provide therapy support under the supervision of a licensed SLP

Assist with the delivery of IEP-aligned communication interventions

Document therapy sessions and track student outcomes

Work closely with teachers, parents, and other staff to promote student progress
