About the Role:
Join a committed and compassionate team near California, as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). In this full-time role, you’ll support students with mild to severe disabilities, helping them achieve critical communication and developmental goals. Partner with experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and educators in a collaborative environment dedicated to fostering student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services to students under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy goals.
- Track and document student progress with accuracy and detail.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to provide a consistent and supportive learning environment.
- Prepare therapy materials and activities as needed for effective sessions.
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in California or eligibility to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Experience with students with mild to severe disabilities is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive impact in the lives of students.
