State & Federal Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active SLPA license through the Georgia state board

Compliance with all state and federal regulations for school-based therapy services

Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the district
Job Description & Duties:

Assist Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in implementing therapy plans

Work directly with students to support speech and language development

Conduct screenings and document student progress

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to enhance student success

Maintain records and reports in accordance with district and state guidelines
